It was hard to see this leopard in a tree while on safari at Thornybush Game Lodge<\/a> in South Africa last week.<\/p>\n

The wild cat’s excellent camouflage made me wonder if FitzRoy the cat<\/a> chose his favorite bowl for similar reasons of discretion.<\/p>\n

If it’s good enough for cats, it’s good enough for me! When we left Thornybush for Cape Town, I got all stealthy with the hotel’s carpeting.<\/p>\n

I had another opportunity to try camouflage when we visited an ostrich farm. Naturally, I wore my faux-ostrich-feather jacket by Stacy Lomman<\/a>. I thought I blended in perfectly with the young ostriches.<\/p>\n
