The single earrings I wore in the 1980s have been on my mind this year<\/a>. I loved that look so much.<\/p>\n

It annoyed me when I had to buy a pair of earrings back then; I wanted to buy just one of everything.<\/p>\n

Two of the earrings I did buy as singles back in the day. That torso was a favorite.<\/p><\/div>\n

For a long time, I’ve thought about adding single-earring options to my diffusion line and I finally got motivated after I lost my treasured single, neon, guitar-pick earring from the early ’80s at a Madonna concert this September<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I figured single earrings would be a good way of memorializing that beloved piece.<\/p>\n

My first offerings are 5-millimeter single stud earrings: a sterling-silver hashtag and an “at sign,” both made in New York City.<\/p>\n
