I’ve been panting to see Tim Burton’s new movie Frankenweenie<\/em><\/a> because I love short, chunky dogs …<\/p>\n

MrB and I went to see the movie at a theater a block away from our apartment last night — within the magic zone of invisibility<\/a> — so I just threw on some lipstick and the only clean t-shirt I could find.\u00a0 I didn’t realize till I left the house that the “stitches” in the middle of the button design on my shirt matched the trompe l\u2019oeil<\/em> stitching on my vintage Moschino jacket (and all of it matched the stitches on Sparky the Frankenweenie). A post-movie outfit photo was called for. I kept trying to persuade the dogs to pose nicely with me, but they were more interested in looking for potentially poisonous snacks on the sidewalk.<\/p>\n

Normally, I don’t wear any jewelry when I’m in the magic zone of invisibility, but I’m enjoying the IDGAF necklace more than ever after my gorgeous client Susan<\/a> shocked the wig-hats<\/a> off her more conservative blog readers by wearing hers. And here I had been worried that I’d had lost my touch to wind people up — especially after my mother thought the necklace was cute and funny.
