I’m normally a big fan of trompe l’oeil<\/a><\/em> fashion, but I prefer real heel height, so I’ve been wearing the hell out of my Thelma wedge sneakers by Ash Shoes<\/a>. I wore them to, from and during a trip to Chicago last week. Right before I took this picture there, a random dude told me, “I like your high-heel Converse<\/a>.” Ha! I did pick this Ash style for its Converse-like white toe.<\/p>\n What Wendy Wore<\/strong> I just got that satin bomber jacket from gorgeous blogger\/designer<\/a>\/neighbor\/constant companion Stacy Lomman. Every so often, I walk the block and a half to her place and shop the runway samples in her closet. I don’t know how I missed this Fall 2011 jacket until now.\u00a0 People were asking me about it everywhere I went in Chicago.
