We took the Eurostar<\/a> to Paris, in the company of five fiendishly loud children. Their parents seemed unperturbed by the constant uproar. I didn’t share their apathy, and spent the whole time wishing gorgeous blogger Kate<\/a> were there to get the situation under control. I noticed yesterday<\/a> that she doesn’t brook any nonsense from chair kickers and toy hurlers. I can’t imagine what she would make of “Simon Says” players.<\/p>\n

We made up for it with a lovely dinner with our friend Tom<\/a> at Les Ombres at the top of the Musee du Quai Branly<\/a>, which has a magnificent view of the Eiffel Tower. Thanks for picking such a great place, Tom!<\/p>\n

As a bonus, my passive-aggressive tweets about the naughty children attracted the attention of our friend Isabelle, the queen of candy<\/a>, who just so happened to be in Paris too. We met up with her for drinks at La Palette<\/a>.<\/p>\n

After one too many glasses of wine, MrB and I paused by some fleurs<\/em> to take a photo of my latest Francis<\/a> dress. Because the London ladies<\/a> teased me for my same-in-every-photo smile, I have toned it down to a smirk. BUT I AM SMILING INSIDE, BITCHES!<\/p>\n
