I’m not much of a sports fan, but there are a few athletes who impress me. One is basketball Hall-of-Famer Walt “Clyde” Frazier, who is one of my official style icons<\/a>. Now I’ve added hockey great Wayne Gretzky to my list of people who give good advice. I was struck by one of his classic quotes the other day:<\/p>\n

“I skate to where the puck is going to be, not where it has been.”<\/em><\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Seems like that worked out well for him, right?<\/p>\n

Then gorgeous blogger Audi of Fashion for Nerds <\/a>pointed out this one:<\/p>\n

“You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.”<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Time to stop living in the past and take risks! With Wayne Gretzky as my life coach, I’m sure to wind up swinging a hockey stick in a pool for a Nickelback video<\/a> sooner rather than later.<\/p>\n
