MrB and I arrived in London this morning in time for a day full of thunderstorms, redeemed by dinner with our gorgeous friends Bruce, Michele and Dave<\/a> at Hix Oyster & Chop House<\/a>.<\/p>\n

At one point, I excused myself to visit the ladies’ room, where I puzzled over a framed drawing in one of the stalls.<\/p>\n

The caption settles it. It's definitely a "queue of dildos."<\/p><\/div>\n

Just goes to show that it’s good to take a camera everywhere you go. You never know where you might find some good dildo drawings. Of course, it’s also good to take pictures of your friends. Here are Bruce and Michele.<\/p>\n

Bruce is often mistaken for Eddie Vedder.<\/p><\/div>\n

And here I am with Dave, who is trying to make a very knowledgeable face.<\/p>\n

A few years ago, when we were all visiting London at the same time, Dave joined MrB and me for a drive to Hampton Court Palace<\/a>, one of the favorite palaces of Henry the VIII<\/a>. Dave got to sit up front with the chatty driver, who was continuously amazed that Dave, a journalist, knew about things like rugby and council houses. The driver kept exclaiming, “You know everything! You media people know everything!” My favorite moment was when we passed a church on our way back to the hotel and the following conversation took place:<\/p>\n
