I started watching the red-carpet coverage of the Screen Actors Guild Awards<\/a> yesterday, but nothing caught my eye, so I moved on. Too many of the same pale shades we saw at the Golden Globes<\/a> for me. I did see actress Rose Byrne being interviewed, but close-up only, so I just gave her bangs the side-eye because I thought they looked costume-y. I didn’t see till later that she was wearing a daring jumpsuit and that the bangs were part of a whole Michelle-Pfeiffer-in-Scarface<\/em><\/a> vibe. To me, costume-y is bad. An actual costume is awesome. Rose Byrne gets my Best Dressed\/Wear What You Want combo award for the event. I’m sure she’s thrilled! Who needs a SAG Award when you can get a made-up award from me?<\/p>\n
