For weeks, I’ve been hyp-mo-tized<\/a> by the New Year’s Eve-themed promo for the second season of the reality show Mob Wives<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ads for the various wives-themed reality shows usually show scenes from an episode, followed by the female stars striking poses in jewel-tone dresses. I was fascinated by the way this ad had the mob wives officially<\/em> acting, rather than acting in the reality-TV kind of way. It was like Sex and the City<\/em> meets the Joe Pesci character from Goodfellas<\/em>. I loved the ad so much that I watched the first episode of the season on Sunday and THANK GOD I DID because I was introduced to “Big Ang.”<\/p>\n

When Big Ang appeared at the birthday party of one of the main wives, I thought she was a female impersonator hired to entertain the guests. Drag queens around the world should lay their wigs at Big Ang’s feet in tribute because she out-cross-dresses all of them.
