The crown jewels would probably be a bargain compared to Elizabeth Taylor’s jewels, which brought in a record-setting $115 million at auction<\/a>. The heart-shaped Taj Mahal Diamond<\/a>, for instance, had a pre-auction estimate of $300,000 to $500,000, but sold for $8.8 million.<\/p>\n
