Back in July, I admired the mix of glen plaid and houndstooth<\/a> filling the windows at Ferragamo’s 5th Avenue store, especially because I already own a similar look. My pieces are glen plaid, rather than houndstooth, but they have the right vibe.<\/p>\n

I was pondering the sunglasses when I remembered that I already have vintage checked sunglasses<\/a>. Again, not houndstooth, but black and white is black and white, as far as I’m concerned. Maybe I’ll try them with my plaid Versace dress<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I walked by the Ferragamo store last week and noticed that the windows had been changed. Only one piece of houndstooth was in the window. Personally, I would have left the houndstooth display up there longer to take advantage of all the interest.<\/p>\n
