The first time I ate with chopsticks was at Indochine in 1988. One of the publicists for the movie Mondo New York took me there. I felt very chic and grown-up, though I was neither. The dinner at Indochine was a spontaneous decision, so it was just coincidence that my Stephen Sprouse skirt was from his 1988 collection. The skirt isn’t home-grown vintage. I couldn’t afford Sprouse in the ’80s. I got it within the past 10 years.

What Wendy Wore
Top: Purchased in Paris in 2001
Skirt: Stephen Sprouse, Hardcore Collection, 1988
Boots: Manolo Blahnik
Lip color: Girl About Town by MAC
Earrings: My own Cleopatra design

I definitely recommend a visit to Post Script if you’re in New York.
