After I wrote about fall’s color-blocking and snakeskin\/print trends<\/a> for the Huffington Post’s Styelist site last month, I said to myself, “Self, a trend story isn’t really a trend story without one of my awesome<\/a> blogger<\/a> slideshows<\/a>.” I immediately started working on a snake-print and color-blocking slideshow. Luckily, I didn’t rush it because I got to photograph some stellar examples of both trends in person at the Independent Fashion Bloggers conference<\/a> on September 7.\u00a0 Those IFB pictures — as well as bloggers’ own photos — are in my latest Styelist post, which went live yesterday. Color-blocking Kuwaiti blogger LadyB<\/a> (no relation to WendyB) got so excited about it, she lost her head, as you can see below.<\/p>\n

LadyB is wearing a Topshop blazer, palazzo pants from Mango (she calls them her “latest addiction, quite perfect for our blazing hot summer”) and — hitting the snakeskin trend as well as color-blocking — a pair of yellow python pumps from Reiss. If LadyB had a head, she would say, “Go see the blogger slideshow on Stylelist right now!”<\/p>\n
