West 47th Street is the center of New York City’s Diamond District<\/a>. I spend a lot of time there with jewelers, gem setters, metal casters, and wholesalers of all varieties. My latest gel manicure from celebrity manicurist Tracylee Percival<\/a> is bejeweled gold, so I’m going to call it “47th Street.” Soon it might be the only kind of gold I can afford<\/a>!<\/p>\n

Tracylee created this look with Gelish’s Allure<\/a> to match the Minx pedicure<\/a> she did. She used two layers of Minx: the sheer checkerboard pattern is layered over an opaque metallic gold layer. As I tried to take a photo, Henry the dog<\/a> came over and put his paws next to my paws.<\/p>\n
