I spend a lot of time there with jewelers, gem setters, metal casters, and wholesalers of all varieties. My latest gel manicure from celebrity manicurist <a href=\"http:\/\/wendybrandes.com\/blog\/2011\/04\/theres-something-about-my-pinkie\/\" target=\"_blank\">Tracylee Percival<\/a> is bejeweled gold, so I&#8217;m going to call it &#8220;47th Street.&#8221; Soon it might be the <a href=\"http:\/\/wendybrandes.com\/blog\/2011\/07\/get-smart-about-the-price-of-gold\/\" target=\"_blank\">only kind of gold I can afford<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11849\" title=\"goldnails\" src=\"http:\/\/wendybrandes.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/goldnails.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"475\" height=\"356\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.wendybrandes.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/goldnails.jpg 475w, https:\/\/www.wendybrandes.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/goldnails-300x224.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 475px) 100vw, 475px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Tracylee created this look with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Harmony-Gelish-Soak-Polish-Allure\/dp\/B003VMIHEU\" target=\"_blank\">Gelish&#8217;s Allure<\/a> to match the <a href=\"http:\/\/wendybrandes.com\/blog\/category\/minx-manicure\/\" target=\"_blank\">Minx pedicure<\/a> she did. She used two layers of Minx: the sheer checkerboard pattern is layered over an opaque metallic gold layer.
