Ten years ago today, I wore a Richard Tyler wedding gown, Stuart Weitzman shoes, a tiara and a veil.<\/p>\n

At the wedding, my two youngest stepchildren walked our dog, the late Mr. Chubbs<\/a>, and my parents’ dog, Molly<\/a>, down the aisle …<\/p>\n

Of course, I just had to know whether I could still fit into the dress. I put it on and gorgeous clothing designer Stacy Lomman<\/a> took my picture in front of a supermarket, to the confusion of passersby. One woman said into her cellphone, “There’s a bride out here!”<\/p>\n

I was so focused on getting a picture of the gown that I completely forgot about the white leather halter and hiphuggers I changed into near the end of the wedding reception.<\/p>\n

I wore the leather outfit a second time for MrB’s surprise 60th birthday party in 2002, but I wouldn’t want to try it on again now. I need to do a few billion sit-ups before attempting that!<\/p>\n
