In the past couple of weeks, I’ve read posts by bloggers who have been persecuted because of their body shapes,<\/a> the color of their skin<\/a>, or other physical qualities beyond their control.\u00a0 Meanwhile, one blogger observed that the blogging world is like high school with its bitchy little cliques<\/a>. Personally, I think the whole world is like high school. No matter where you are — whether it’s the office or a family reunion — there is probably going to be some insecure asshole with something stupid to say about you<\/a>. To everyone who has been picked on, I offer some consoling words from ’80s pop star Adam Ant<\/a>, the owner of my fantasy wardrobe<\/a>. I’ve been watching his “Prince Charming<\/a>” video lately and have decided that all self-worth messages should come with dudes in drag; shinys bare chests; a harp; a stuffed cat; and a Marlon Brando impression.
