I was delighted to be mentioned in an article in Crain’s New York<\/a> last month. Surprised too, because I found out only after a charming customer called to order the necklace that was featured. I think the customer was surprised to be talking directly to a surprised designer. I hope his gorgeous wife was surprised by the gift, because if she wasn’t, she would be the only person not <\/span>surprised in this scenario.<\/p>\n

Crain’s was right. The petite Mignonette<\/a> is a “real steal” compared to most of my gold and gemstone pieces; I recently explained the size and weight of my pieces as well as the labor<\/a> that goes into setting them. The Mignonette is the kind of piece I occasionally create as an alternative to my usual look; it’s perfect for someone who needs a discreet piece of jewelry for everyday wear. The flower is only 3\/8″ wide. You can compare that to something like the Boleyn Necklace<\/a>, which is 2″ long. Obviously the little one is the steal!<\/p>\n
