British It girl Alexa Chung is on the cover of British Vogue this month.<\/p>\n

In an interview, she continued the tradition of insider-y fashion people adored by fashion bloggers saying random-ass things about fashion blogs<\/a>. She said:<\/p>\n

“Blogs are ridiculous; they’re just mood boards — unless you are Tavi<\/a>.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Hmmm! I thought this blog lacked the collages of movie stills, photos of roses and shoes, and gauzy images of beautiful young women holding cigarettes that would qualify it for mood board <\/a>status. In fact, I don’t do mood boards for jewelry designs, though I do dog-ear a lot of pages in history books. Gorgeous teen blogger Tavi, however, has plenty<\/a> of mood-board<\/a> posts. She’s about the only one whose mood boards I enjoy. Maybe that is what Alexa is trying to say? “You’re all just mood boards, unless you are Tavi and then you are a KICK-ASS mood board.” Yeah, that must be it. I’m sure Alexa checks in with 100 blogs a day, just like I do, so she knows whereof she speaks!<\/p>\n

But Alexa once wore my Matilda sword necklace<\/a> in Marie Claire so I have to forgive her.<\/p>\n
