{"id":1051,"date":"2009-01-17T14:59:00","date_gmt":"2009-01-17T21:59:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wendybrandes.com\/blog\/?p=1051"},"modified":"2019-11-03T19:52:14","modified_gmt":"2019-11-04T00:52:14","slug":"jack-and-rack","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wendybrandes.com\/blog\/2009\/01\/jack-and-rack\/","title":{"rendered":"Jack and Rack"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A great thing about coming in <a href=\"http:\/\/wbjewelry.blogspot.com\/2009\/01\/third-place-is-as-good-as-winning.html\">third in the 2008 Weblog Award&#8217;s Best Fashion Blog category<\/a> is that I didn&#8217;t have to fulfill <a href=\"http:\/\/wbjewelry.blogspot.com\/2009\/01\/you-know-you-want-me.html\">my promise<\/a> to celebrate a first-place finish with one-armed push-ups a la <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=g426J4Uh2m4\">73-year-old Jack Palance on Oscar night.<\/p>\n<p><center><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/AGxL5AFzzMY\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/center><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve attempted a one-armed push-up. I&#8217;m pretty sure my effort failed, though the concussion I sustained in the process might have messed with my memory. I am good at two-armed push-ups though. As Jack said, &#8220;As far as two-handed push-ups, you can do that all night, and it doesn&#8217;t make a difference whether she&#8217;s there or not.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Someone else who didn&#8217;t have to live up to her campaign promise is gorgeous blogger Katrocket, who declared that &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/katrocket.blogspot.com\/2009\/01\/vote-for-wendy-b-is-vote-for-boobs.html\">a vote for WendyB is a vote for boobs<\/a>&#8221; and offered to celebrate a first-place win with a week&#8217;s worth of pictures of her own rack. But don&#8217;t feel totally deprived. Katrocket has offered a consolation prize <a href=\"http:\/\/katrocket.blogspot.com\/2009\/01\/rack-it-up.html\">here<\/a>.
