Gorgeous blogger Sheila of Ephemera has recognized my triumphs in the Drysdale Award<\/a> categories for big ego and bad language, naming me The Most Foul-Mouthed Self-Promoting Funny Woman Ever<\/a>. Kathy “Knock the Dicks Out of Your Mouth” Griffin is going to be jealous.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, for the second anniversary of my 39th birthday, gorgeous triple-threat (friend-client-blogger) Angela<\/a> composed this fabulous poem:<\/p>\n

We gather together <\/span>
on her 39th<\/span>
to honor she who is<\/span>
one-of-a-kindth.<\/span>
In festive attire we salute<\/span>
one whose humor is most astute.<\/span>
She generously bestows and bejewels<\/span>
sharing wit and wisdom without<\/span>
being cruel.<\/span>
Always dressed with style and skulls,<\/span>
her sartorial sense is never dull.<\/span>
Many pleasures we would forgo<\/span>
if only to watch Miss Wendy pogo.<\/span><\/p>\n

Angela’s shouted recitation of her poem (it was noisy!) to a table of New Year’s Eve\/birthday party guests was a highlight of last night. (A previous example of Angela’s creativity is here<\/a>.) I hope I didn’t disappoint anyone last night with my lack of pogoing, but here’s how it looked<\/a> when I did it last year.<\/p>\n
