I recently had a chat with Severine Ferrari, editor-in-chief of Engagement 101, which inspired me to drag out my ginormous wedding album. Seriously, this thing is so heavy that I have to hitch two Shetland ponies to it to pull it out of the bookcase. I flipped through a few pages for this week’s YouTube video.
Bill Fredericks was the photographer who shot my wedding in 2001. He also did my sister’s wedding in 2002. Fifteen years later, my friend Alyssa Brownell asked if I knew of a wedding photographer, and I said the only one I’d had experience with was Bill Fredericks. Then I totally forgot we had that conversation, so at Alyssa’s wedding this July, I was like, “Why is this photographer so glad to see me … OH!” It’s nice to be able to surprise one’s own self.
After you watch my video, if you’re still in a wedding album mood, Duran Duran’s 1993 The Wedding Album is available on iTunes.
