Minx Manicure #6: Silver Houndstooth

April 26, 2010 by WendyB

I had a lot of special events to go to last week … and that’s all the excuse I needed to get another Minx manicure. For those of you who haven’t seen Minx before, it’s a film that’s applied with heat to the nails for a completely opaque look.

The metallic options are my favorite so I picked a silver and black houndstooth pattern. I took this picture six days after the application and, as you see, the Minx is holding up better than my cuticles are.

I couldn't get my ring into the photo. Click the picture to find out which it was.

I got the manicure at Bliss Spa. You can find out where you can get Minxed here and learn all about the product from my other Minx posts. Nope, I’m not paid by the Minx people. I’m just a big fan.

The houndstooth Minx looks very ’80s here, very pixelated and such… I can dig it.

And when I get the chance, I’ll be able to get them in Louisville (finally), too!

I have to get this done!!! I love it. There was a manicurist from where I’m from in New Jersey who actually won the world wide competition in nail art.

Lol! These are too cool! Love the houndstooth pattern, but I’m not sure how that would fly at my traditional corporate office 🙂
