Voila!

October 7, 2008 by WendyB

Hold onto your hats! You’re about to see my rolled-up, baggy jeans at last. Here’s the outfit I wore to see Madonna at Madison Square Garden last night.

Acne “Generic Girl” jeans
Michael Stars t-shirt

Steve J & Yoni P hand-painted jacket

13-year-old Prada shoes

I am assuming the traditional fashion blogger pose by coyly looking down at my feet. Enough of this smiling-like-a-regular-person thing that I’ve been doing!

I love your smiling photos! And that jacket—I love the cut and structure. I think you look great here. My favorite bit is the mary janes with the rolled-up jeans. You’re a girl after my own heart—if I had either mary janes, or jeans I could roll up, I’d be doing that look.

i’ve really never quite understood why so many bloggers assume that stance! the first time my boyfriend took a picture of me for Cupcakes and Cashmere, i looked down and put my hand in my hair and he asked, ‘um is everything ok?’ i love this look on you, btw. perfect for a Madonna concert!

Love love LOVE! the outfit but O-M-G! a Madonna concert! What I wouldn’t give to go see a live Madonna concert….

I promised myself next time she tours I would buy tickets, regardless of how long it takes me to pay them off! 🙂

How was it? Did you have so much fun? What a performance that would be!

Hi there-adore the outfit-AND I could enlarge the picture too, haha!! The jacket is stunning and I love the jeans. The ones I bought last week are a similiar colour, I think I will try roll ups with a heel. Totally fab pose-I must copy this too, haha!!

I’ve come to the conclusion that the staring at the feet comes from a desire to make the post about the clothes and not about the person. Which is odd for personal style blogs, but who said the world made sense?
